Bayer MaterialScience makes new appointment

Dr Axel Steiger-Bagel has been appointed chief administration officer (CAO) of Germany-based polymer manufacturer Bayer Material Science AG, effective March 1. He will also become a member of the management board and executive committee of the Bayer subgroup. Dr Steiger-Bagel succeeds Professor Dr Gottfried Plumpe who is leaving the company by mutual consent.
