New DoD contract for Wellco

Military footwear manufacturer Wellco Enterprises, Inc. has been awarded a Department of Defense (DoD) contract to supply the US Navy with Safety Flight Deck boots. The contract is for a one-year period, with four one-year options to be decided at the government’s discretion.
Revenues from the contract are estimated to range from a minimum of $3.1 million to a maximum of $7.3 million per year. The first delivery order for the new product has been issued for 38,000 pairs and manufacturing will take place at the company’s plant in
