Revenues rise at Warnaco

New York-based apparel company The Warnaco Group, Inc. has posted higher revenues for its fourth quarter and full year, ended December 30.

During the fourth quarter, net revenues increased 35.6% to $480.6 million compared with $354.5 million in the same quarter of 2005. Net income was $18.9 million compared with $6.9 million in the prior year quarter.

For the full year, net revenues increased 23.8% to $1.83 billion from $1.48 billion in 2005. Income totalled $73.6 million compared with $55.5 million.

2007 net revenues are expected to grow in the mid-single digits over 2006 levels.

Excluding results from the acquired Calvin Klein Jeans and related businesses in Europe and Asia (CKJEA), net revenues for the quarter and year increased by 11.9% and 2.5% to $396.7 million and $1.5 billion, respectively.
