Swiss outdoor apparel company ComforTrust AG, based in Frauenfeld, claims to be the first company to manufacture its whole collection from bluesign-certified fabrics, all of which are produced by Christian Eschler AG. All other components and accessories used by the company also comply with the standard.

Developed in Switzerland, the bluesign standard focuses on consumer safety, environmental and other health and safety issues within the textile production chain such as air and water emissions and occupational health and resource management.

All of the company’s apparel items, which include underwear, workwear, military apparel, and active sportswear, are marked with the bluesign safety label.
