350 exhibitors, including Chinese shipyards and overseas luxury yacht manufacturers, have confirmed their participation at the China International Boat Show (CIBS). The show will take place on April 5-8 in Shanghai and is said to be Asia's largest exhibition for maritime leisure and boat building.

Exhibits will include powerboats, sailing yachts, marinas, related lifestyle goods and services as well as equipment and supplies. In 2006, over 21,000 end-users and industry professionals attended the fair, which hosted 320 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions.

With 90,000 lakes, 6,500 islands and 18,000 kilometres of coastline, China’s yachting market is growing rapidly and many new buyers are expected to attend this year’s event.
