Improved sales at American Eagle Outfitters

Sales for the four weeks, ended March 3, increased 16% to $166.3 million at US sporting retailer American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. This compared with $143.1 million reported in the corresponding period last year.
The company designs and sells its own brand of casual clothing, outerwear, footwear, and swimwear. It currently operates 834 stores.
