Merino wool proves popular at fashion festival

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) has presented new developments in Australian Merino wool as part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF), which is taking place from March 4-10.

Images featuring the Josh Goot black pure Merino wool tank were printed onto wool canvas, in order to demonstrate the versatility of the Australian Merino fibre. The display also presented work from photographers including Ben Watts, Richard Bailey, Georges Antoni, Jay Harrison, Max Doyle and Jon Compson.

Over 300 guests attended the event from across the globe including buyers, designers, manufacturers, fashion business personnel and media representatives.
