New Champions' League final match ball unveiled

Germany-based adidas has unveiled the official match ball for the UEFA Champions' League Final, which will take place in Athens on May 2.

The Greek capital is hosting its fourth UEFA Champions' League final in the newly-built 2004 Olympic Stadium.

The ‘Finale Athens’ ball features adidas +Teamgeist technology, a 14-panel configuration, which reduces the number of three-panel touch points by 60% and the total length of panel lines by 15%. This creates a totally round ball allowing for better accuracy and control.
