Tom Elwell has been named CEO of US-based technical athletic footwear brand Etonic Worldwide. With over 30 years of experience in the footwear and golf industries, he currently oversees Mizuno’s technical running business as well as its South American business. He is also widely credited with having built Mizuno’s technical running business in North and South America to the third highest market share in its category.

Etonic’s current CEO, Tom Seeman, who was part of the ownership group which purchased Etonic from Spalding in 2003 and sold it to Italy’s Lotto in late 2006, will join Etonic’s board of directors.
