US-based athletic footwear and apparel company Pony International LLC has named Kevin Wulff as chief executive officer. He replaces Jim Stroesser who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

An experienced athletic footwear industry executive, Mr Wulff most recently served as president and CEO of American Sporting Goods. Prior to this he held several senior positions at Nike Inc., including as president of Nike Canada and senior vice president/general manager-USA. He has also served as the chairman and CEO of the Women's Tennis Association.
