State bank of Pakistan awards R&D grants

The State Bank of Pakistan has awarded over PRs15.42 billion ($0.25 billion) as Research and Development (R&D) grants to exporters of garments, fabrics, leather footwear, and home textiles. Some PRs7.94 billion has been awarded to exporters in Karachi, PRs3.57 billion in Lahore and PRs3.01 billion in Faisalabad. The remaining amount was presented to exporters in other cities.
