Footwear, apparel and accessories brand Jordan Brand, a division of Nike, has launched the Jumpman Jeter Vital shoe inspired by Team Jordan athlete Derek Jeter—one of the original members of the inaugural group of Team Jordan Athletes. This will be Jeter's seventh shoe for Jordan Brand, the first having been launched in May 2001.

Categorised as a turf and field trainer, the Jumpman Jeter Vital has been engineered to increase performance, while ensuring comfort ability and optimal support. Produced in a combination of synthetic and full grain leather, with a foam backed collar lining and heel it is said to offer optimal interior comfort and protection. A symmetrical toe provides better protection against toe drag to enhance bursts of speed, whilst a lateral window cut out is said to ensure freedom of movement to assist in running while allowing the foot to breathe.
