DuPont helps to protect military history
Manufacturer of protective clothing solutions DuPont has teamed up with Contamination Control Apparel Ltd. to donate 4,600 garment covers made from DuPont Tyvek to The Royal Air Force Museum in the UK so that it can protect its collection of RAF and military uniforms.
The uniforms range from First World War flying suits to present day ceremonial robes and aircrew coveralls. Notable uniforms include those worn by Winston Churchill, King George VI and Lord Trenchard (the founding father of the RAF).
