Coolmax wins Spanish competition

The Coolmax team has made a positive start to the 2007 Extreme Raid World Championship by winning the first competition of the season.

The team—comprising Emma Roca, David Rovira and Fran Lopez—won La Pineda Platja 07 competition held in Tarragona, Spain, with over 40 teams starting the race.

The event involved cycling more than 20km and line skating more than 10km as well as caving, archery, trekking, canoeing and kayaking. The team, wearing outfits made from Coolmax fabrics, finished more than an hour ahead of the team that came second.
