The company has developed a range of performance fabric products which can be tailored for applications including military, workwear, firefighting, law
enforcement and recreational wear, which are both waterproof and breathable and, when used in garments, offer comfort and durability. The laminates used are designed to meet some of the toughest international military specifications and to help keep the wearer safe, warm and dry.
Its Tetratex ePTFE membrane is manufactured from 100% PTFE polymer resin. Tetratex is dimensionally and chemically stable in almost any environment ranging from -270º C to +260º C. Whilst it is highly water repellent, the membrane allows air and moisture vapour to permeate, providing a hydrophobic and breathable fabric.
