The board of directors at US-based designer of golf apparel and golf-inspired sportswear Ashworth, Inc. has approved the appointment of Eric Salus as a director, effective April 16. He will stand for election at the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting.

Mr Salus has more than 30 years retail experience. Most recently he served as president of Macy’s Home Store and was responsible for five separate operating divisions across the USA. Prior to this he served as the president of Bon Macy’s.
