Resistex yarns receive Oeko-Tex certification

01/05/2007

Following a number of pH, odour and toxicity tests, conductive Resistex yarns, produced by Italian company Tecnofilati, have been granted Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (Class 1) certification.

The certificate guarantees that the yarns contain no health-endangering substances and Class 1 covers clothing for babies and young children up to two years old. It also ensures that substances used during the manufacturing process are not harmful to the environment and contain no CFC gases.

The yarns are based on silver, carbon, stainless steel and copper to provide conductive, anti-static and anti-bacterial properties.
