Israeli fibre producer Nilit recently held two conferences in Yiwu and Guangzhou, China, in order to raise awareness of its products and to keep local manufacturers abreast of its global activities.

The event in Yiwu was attended by more than 100 members of the sector, whilst the conference in Gaungzhou attracted more than 50 participants including manufacturers of hosiery and seamless bodywear and producers of covered yarn.

During the events, Oded Breier, marketing and sales manager of the Fibers Division, presented Nilit’s global activities, describing the effect of recent strategic initiatives undertaken by the company, including the acquisition of the Invista apparel production operation in Germany, which has increased Nilit’s market share in Europe and allows Nilit to market the Invista brands Tactel, Cordura and Supplex under licence. Meanwhile, Yu Hailong, vice general manager of Nilit (Suzhou) Ltd., presented Nilit’s portfolio of specialty yarns and highlighted the specific performance attributions of each yarn.
