Improved orders at Lectra but revenue dips

03/05/2007

In spite of posting an 11% increase in total orders for new software licences and CAD/CAM equipment in the first quarter, France-based provider of CAD/CAM equipment and services for the textile, leather and industrial fabrics industry Lectra witnessed a 5% dip in revenues from new systems sales. This was said to be due, at least in part, to late orders.

Revenues fell to €24.1 million ($32.7 million), although recurring revenues increased 7% to €25.5 million. Total revenues were €49.5 million, down 3% at current exchange rates.
