The Polyurethanes division of US chemical company Huntsman Corporation will increase prices for all of its MDI products in the NAFTA region by $0.05 per pound as of June 1, or as applicable contracts allow. The company stated that the increases reflected high raw material costs, including record high benzene prices.

Huntsman—North America's largest producer of MDI—manufactures products for a variety of industries including chemicals, plastics, textiles and footwear.
