Intertextile Pavilion looks set for success

In light of the burgeoning local apparel manufacturing industry, organisers are expecting a high turnout at the Intertextile Pavilion in Shenzhen, which will run as part of the 7th China International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair on July 12-14.

In 2006, more than 6,400 buyers attended the fair which features cotton, silk, wool, linen/ramie, man-made, knitted, functional, lace and embroidery textiles as well as new technology, design and accessories.

More than 3,000 manufacturers are now based in the area and recorded exports of $28 billion, a 78% increase from 2005.
