AAFA makes new appointments
The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has made two new appointments. Kurt Courtney has been named manager of Government Relations and Dawn Van Dyke will take on the newly-created position of manager of Communications & Marketing.
A former legislative assistant and appropriations associate, in his new role Mr Courtney will oversee the government relations team to ensure that all issues of concern to AAFA members and the industry are monitored and that AAFA’s voice is heard in Washington.
Shaping the new position of Manager of Communications & Marketing, Ms Van Dyke will support all staff members’ communications needs while advancing the mission of the AAFA and enhancing its outreach efforts.
