McRae Industries, Inc. has been awarded a new contract to produce direct moulded sole military combat boots for the US Government. The contract covers a base year—which provides for a minimum boot requirement of 84,731 pairs and a maximum requirement of 346,837 pairs with a minimum and maximum dollar value of approximately $5.335 million and $21.84 million, respectively—and four one-year option periods. If the maximum quantities are invoked in each of the option years, the total value of the contract would be $106.757 million.
