US-based producer and processor of multi- filament polyester and nylon textured yarns Unifi, Inc. has appointed Stephen Wener to its board of directors.

Mr Wener has served as president and CEO of Dillon Yarn Corporation since 1980, the polyester and nylon texturing operations of which were purchased by Unifi on January 1.

Unifi’s brands include aio, Sorbtek, A.M.Y., Mynx UV, Repreve, Reflexx, MicroVista and Satura.
