Malaysia and Pakistan discussed the possibility of establishing joint ventures in several sectors, including textiles and sporting goods, at a Malaysia-Pakistan Business Forum held during the recent Third World Islamic Economic Forum (WIFE) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Addressing the forum, Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh, president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) highlighted the liberal investment policy in Pakistan and urged Malaysian businesses to consider investment either individually or through joint ventures.
