Nilorn UK, a subsidiary of Swedish woven labelling firm Nilorn Group, has supplied all the labels for UK fashion design student Kayleigh Hammond’s spring/summer collection.

Ms Hammond, who studies at the University of Lincoln, used the Keighley-based company’s 500 woven satin labels in white, silver and dark silver for her final degree ‘work wear’ collection.

Commenting on the collection she said, “It’s extremely important when putting together a fashion collection, whether for a degree course or actual sale, that the whole concept works, from the actual design to garment detail and packaging.”

The Electric City collection is designed for young professional women and includes dark, lightweight pinstripe suit fabric contrasted with white cotton shirts offset by electric blue tights and accessories. All the items have added volume to distinguish them from traditional tailored suits.

Nilorn produces a range of items from printed labels to swing tickets, hanger stickers, care labels and packaging.
