Having already launched a line of industrial work boots and Babolat pro tennis shoes, automotive tyre manufacturer Michelin has introduced a new casual footwear line, inspired by the company’s new Michelin Primacy MXV4 touring tyre.

According to the company, the new MXV4 footwear line is designed 'from the inside out' to provide comfort and performance in terms of grip and durability. It has two outsoles, inspired by the MXV4 tyre tread, and full grain premium leather uppers in a variety of different styles and colours.

It also features a patented ‘Advanced Rear Suspension’ cushioning system (a multi-chambered, shock-absorbing heel pad positioned between the insole and midsole), hand-sewn components to retain the shape and integrity of the shoe, and an Agion anti-microbial forefoot liner for odour control and resistance to fungal-related foot disorders.
