Spanish producer of denim and workwear fabrics Tavex Group has acquired the assets—including buildings, facilities, and machinery at two sites in Puebla and Tlaxcala—from Mexican company Acabados y Cortes Textiles, S.A. de C.V., which will increase the company's manufacturing capacity in the country to 30 million metres.

Based in Madrid, Tavex has a worldwide annual capacity of 200 million metres of denim fabrics, and twills for sportswear and workwear. It has plants in Spain, Mexico, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
