DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers has announced a worldwide price increase of $0.08/lb for all grades of DuPont Elvanol polyvinyl alcohol (PVA/PVOH), effective July 1, or as contracts permit.

DuPont cited sustained high energy and transportation costs and raw material cost volatility as the reason for the increase.

Elvanol polyvinyl alcohol is used in a variety of industries including textiles, paper, adhesives and films.
