More than 300 guests, including customers, local government officials, attended the opening of Swiss textile systems manufacturer Rieter’s new production facility in Changzhou, China, on May 31.

The new plant consists of assembly and production facilities as well as new office space, and a new showroom which will display the company’s major textile products such as blowroom, carding, drawframes and end-spinning machines.

Including the new plant in Changzhou, the company now operates three plants and six sales offices in China.
