US-based identification and tracking systems for the apparel and retail markets Paxar Corporation has introduced a new roll-to-roll automatic heat transfer machine, HS70 TRR, which is designed for a wide range of roll transfer applications.

Key features include a short dwell time, taking between 0.5 and four seconds to seal a label of decoration to a finished garment or in-process fabric; a quick cycle time, after a cycle, the machine is instantly ready for the next garment as soon as the operator can feed it; a bottom heating option, heat can be applied to both the top and bottom, allowing dual heat which reduces seal time and can increase throughput; and a simple control panel screen.

Designed for table-top use, the HS70 TRR is said to be compact and durable. Its applicator head incorporates a non-stick Teflon coating to ensure that the labels are transferred cleanly onto the receiver material.
