France-based developer of software and CAD/CAM equipment Lectra has launched its VectorTechTex automated cutting system at Techtextil in Frankfurt.

Offering cutting precision and traceability, the VectorTechTexFX piloting software is said to allow for a reduction of material consumption and optimises markers and cutting quality. It is said to be user-friendly as well as providing process security and featuring an integrated smart maintenance system. It provides warning alerts to prompt maintenance actions before failures can occur and offers performance and activity reports that make the cutting system’s integration within the production site more efficient and reliable.
