Innovation to take centre stage at Innov_ex 07

The fifth annual innovation conference for the outdoor sports industry Innov_ex 07 will take place at Lancaster University Management School, UK, on September 26. The theme for the event will be ‘What is Innovation?’

Topics for discussion include ‘What are the implications of new technologies for the trade?’ and ‘What knowledge is being lost and why does it matter?’

The keynote address will be delivered by chairman of North West Development Agency Bryan Gray, while other speakers will include Mark Taylor (Performance Clothing Research Group, University of Leeds), David Smith (innovationworks),
Terry Love (Curtin University, Australia) and Mike Parsons (OMM Ltd and IEED, Lancaster University).

The expert panels will include Mike Redwood (WSA), Dave Brook (Performance Clothing Research Group, University of Leeds) Dave Wrigglesworth (West Coast Outdoor Leisure) and Mick Farnworth (Mammut).
