The Coolmax Extreme Team, comprising Emma Roca, Arnau Julia, Fran López and Benjamin Midena, competed in the 2007 Adventure Racing World Championships, held in Fort William, Scotland, on May 27 to June 3, during which the team kayaked, trekked, mountain biked, Nordic walked and completed both rope and water jump sections, finishing the race in fourth place.

It took the team five days, nine hours and 40 minutes to finish the 500-mile course, and was one of only five of the 49 teams to complete the gruelling race.
