Gary Schoenfeld has been named co-CEO and president of Singapore-based international brand management, retail and licensing company Global Brands Group.

Prior to joining the company in 2006, he was president and CEO of Vans, Inc., until it was acquired by VF Corporation in 2004, during which time he achieved four-fold growth at the athletic footwear brand.

In his new role Mr Schoenfeld will be primarily responsible for the company’s retail, merchandising, and food and beverage initiatives as well as finance, human resources and information technology.

Global Brands’ portfolio includes the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the PGA Tour Licensed Properties, Inc., the International Basketball Association (FIBA), and Warner Bros.
