UK sleeping bag manufacturer Snugpak has promoted Darren Burrell to sales director. Mr Burrell joined the firm in 1998, and recently secured a £1.8 million, six-year, deal to supply the Latvian Armed forces with winter insulated clothing. 

Following a management buyout in January 2006, the company appears to be thriving with turnover for the year ended April 2007 up 15% compared with the previous year.
