Lenzing increases stake in Indonesian subsidiary

As part of its strategy of expansion and globalisation Austrian producer of cellulose fibres Lenzing has increased its share in Indonesian subsidiary PT. South Pacific Viscose (SPV) from 41.98% to 85.79%. The acquisition will cause no immediate changes in the business of the Lenzing Group.  

Located in Purwarkarta, PT. South Pacific Viscose has an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons and employs some 1,500 staff. It is the group's largest viscose fibre production site after its parent site.
