Austrian producer of cellulose fibres Lenzing AG has officially opened a new branch of Lenzing Fibers in Coimbatore, one of India’s most important textile centres, which will employ a professional team of marketing experts, technicians and merchandisers to support Indian textile processors and international brands that source product in the South East Asian country.
Since the 1970s, India’s textile exports have increased 270 times and brands such as Gap, Banana Republic, and Nike have established sourcing offices in India and make use of the traditional Indian textile market for the production of their goods.
