Tennessee-based specialty fibres and nonwoven materials manufacturer Buckeye Technologies Inc. has promoted Steven Dean, currently vice president and chief financial officer, to senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 1.

Having joined the company in 1999, Mr Dean was elected vice president and controller in February 2006, and was appointed vice president and chief financial officer in July last year.
