US designer and manufacturer of boxing, fitness apparel, footwear, and sporting goods equipment Everlast Worldwide Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Brands Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Sports Direct International plc, for $33 per share in cash, a 42.5% premium to its closing price on May 31, and a 24% premium to the average closing price over the last month. The total value of the transaction is over $182 million.
