UK-based technology centre SATRA has appointed John Hubbard to lead its research team. He previously worked in SATRA’s chemical analysis team and has led seminars in the UK and Far East on managing restricted substances in many types of consumer product.

While footwear remains the core focus of the research team, its activities also extend to other product sectors including furniture, luggage, automotive and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Commenting on his appointment Mr Hubbard said, “I’m looking forward to the challenge of this new role and seeking to build on the experience within the team to explore opportunities to deliver a service to the full cross-section of SATRA members.”
