The Textiles Effects business of Huntsman Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire long-term supplier of textile dyes and intermediates Baroda, part of India-based Metrochem Industries Ltd, for $46.5 million in cash. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in January 2008.
