US-based sportswear and dress retailer Cache Inc. has completed its acquisition of New York-based design, sourcing and manufacturing company Adrienne Victoria Designs, Inc., Cache’s largest supplier. The transaction is valued at $16 million.

Founders of Adrienne Victoria Designs, Adrienne and Robert Kantor, will join Cache with Ms Kantor as executive vice president – design and merchandising and Mr Kantor as executive vice president – manufacturing and product development.

Cache operates 294 stores in 44 US states, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
