Adidas and NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. have entered into a multi-year partnership, under which adidas will design and produce a full line of Dale Jr. footwear, apparel and accessories including his future racing suit and technical footwear as well as off track footwear and fan apparel. The new collection will debut at the 2008 season opener in Daytona.

Mr Earnhardt will work directly with the adidas Innovation Team to design and create his racing suit and technical driving shoes, which is likely to include features such as ClimaCool.
