Swiss technical fabric developer Schoeller will showcase its spring/summer 2009 collection at Outdoor Friedrichshafen on July 19-22, including its latest development ColdBlack—a new fabric finish designed to keep dark coloured fabrics cooler.

Although dark colours are generally believed to absorb more energy from sunlight, ColdBlack is said to absorb less heat. Initially being launched for the motorcycle market the textile is also said to be fall-proof.
