The Textile Effects Division of Huntsman has announced that it is to raise prices, effective this month. According to the company the price increases are necessary to offset continued increases in labour, raw materials, utilities and transport costs over the past few years and to ease the “continued downward pressure on its operating margins that can no longer be accepted”.
