K-Swiss launches first free running shoe

US-based sports footwear designer K-Swiss has launched its first free running shoe, the Ariake, aimed at exploiting the expanding popularity of free runninga sport based on the art of moving through your environment, over obstacles and even buildings, using only your body and the surroundings to propel yourself.

The new shoe was developed in partnership with Sebastien Foucan, who is often referred to as “the founding father of free running” and starred in the James Bond film Casino Royale.
