California-based outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment company The North Face has opened its first retail store in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a ski resort in Italy’s Dolomite Mountains. The store is the company’s 31^st European outlet and covers 130 m² of retail space.

It will launch an assortment of the company’s spring 2007 collections, including products from the Adventure Travel Collection. Products will include travel bags and T-shirts, apparel, footwear and equipment.
