Livestrong collection launched
Following on from the success of the Livestrong wristband, of which more than 70 million have been sold since its launch in 2004, Nike and world famous cyclist Lance Armstrong have unveiled a new Livestrong apparel, footwear and accessories collection for men, women and children. All profits from the collection—which is designed for training, running, and cycling—will be given to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which supports cancer survivor programmes.
