US-based provider of information management and brand identification products Avery Dennison will host a forum for 40 senior executives in the apparel and footwear sectors during the RFID Journal/AAFA Apparel & Footwear Summit in New York on August 20-22.

Numerous issues relating to the apparel and footwear sectors will be discussed at the event including how to reconcile SKU numbers with the RFID code; how to deal with variable colour codes and match RFID codes with the correct tickets and labels; how to attach and apply RFID tickets and labels; how to overcome the need for carrying a large RFID base label inventory; and how to co-ordinate tagging items at several different manufacturing facilities.
